Southern Rock Bike Fest Review
Just so that everyone knows, Georgia is on the map with one of the best Motorcycle events in the world!!! Its only 1 year young , but this event has all the aspects of any major event, right now!!! If you have never been, you must go an party with the good folks that put on this fine event, special thanks go out to David, Cathy, Alan and Charlotte down in Milledgeville, Ga. If you go ,just once, I think you will be hooked for life, this is a call to all riders to be at the next event cause it rocks. They have plenty of room for camping and camper trailers, plenty of wild fun, live bands, plenty of nice babes and a list of vendors to keep you happy while you stay. The daily activities are pretty cool but when nightfall comes this little Georgia town comes to life like none you've ever seen. The "Live" Bands were top notch, The "Kickin Dixie Band" and the "Butter Cats" were great entertainment. My most memorable performances were when the "Butter Cats" lead by the Beautiful and talented "Dawn Davis" broke into a rendition of "Janis Joplin's" "Bobby McGee", I had this eerie feeling that Janis was with us at that very moment. The next awesome cover was when guitarist "Jason Hobbs" and "Joey Thigpen" broke into a rendition of Humble Pie's anthem "Thirty Days in a Hole" . This band is going places for sure. I for one feel lucky to have had the opportunity to witness them live.Great bands, great surroundings
, great people , and more fun than you can shake your moneymaker at!!!
